Since my last post… Thursday, Jun 26 2008

Attended a lovely wedding of my niece’s stepdaughter.  My niece’s son is on the left.  The service was held at a country Baptist church near Hickory, North Carolina.

As I drove toward Florida, I stopped for a quick delicious lunch from the Whole Foods deli with a friend who used to live in Michigan but now is in South Carolina.

These are my great, great nieces in Pensacola, Florida.

Brought my sister-in-law back with me when I left Pensacola.  We both met my son for my birthday lunch.

Claudia’s retirement party Tuesday, Jun 3 2008

My colleague in 7th grade language arts is retiring this year…just one year after I did.  She was a great teacher to work with and I value the time we had together.

Can tiny clematis fill this new climbing fence? Monday, Jun 2 2008

One of these tiny clematis is a Nelly Moser.  I have the marker for the other one and will add its name when I look later.  I’m curious to see what they will do as I’ve never known this flower before.
