The red flannel I received for Christmas is going to be the beginning color. To make this quilt, I will not use just a dark and a light; I want to vary it more than that. Soon I’ll go fabric shopping and choose some more fabrics with designs that would complement the red. Valentine’s Day is coming up and stores already have some lovely red patterned flannel fabrics I could use with my solid red. It will take a little figuring, but I’m excited about trying it.
